admission to the program is by application.

The program is open to all students within the Central Kitsap School District boundaries on a space-available year-to-year basis.  Out-of-district students are welcome to apply, although first priority will be given to in-district students.

parent information night.

Participation in Parent Information Night is the first step of the application process. The Parent Information Night will be held at the Hawk Elementary Gym on February 27th at 5:30 p.m.

The Parent Night presentation includes information about the Montessori philosophy, the curriculum, the prepared learning environment offered to children, and guidelines for parent involvement. volunteer commitment.

Program admission requires a signed parental commitment to volunteer. One child in the program requires four volunteer hours per month. Two or more children in the program requires six volunteer hours per month.
